Throughout these projects, we have been working closely with Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta and the school leadership team as we have explored what it means to be a St Joseph’s Primary School learner. This exploratory process unpacked the drivers for change within the education system, while exploring in a deep and meaningful manner the desired pedagogies outlined by CEDP. Our team experimented with a series of 3D models to assist the project team with understanding what it is like to teach in the proposed spaces and it enabled us to immerse ourselves within the spaces to understand what the learner’s experience would be.

The end result is a series of fresh, creative and innovative learning spaces. Filled with natural light and ventilation, these spaces put learning first and foremost. Every surface has a learning intent and the experience of each and every learner has been considered while incorporating a broad spectrum of learners.
